Read and Score Scholarship Applications for PXU High School Seniors

The Phoenix Union Foundation for Education is looking for 100 volunteers to read scholarship applications for the Phoenix Union High School District 2025 scholarship application cycle. Scholarship reader volunteers read the scholarship applications for the Phoenix Union High School District seniors who have applied for our spring scholarships. The requirements for scholarship readers are minimal. They must have graduated for college and not have an affiliation with any of the applicants. We will provide a grading rubric to offer scoring consistency. Access to the student profile and detailed instructions will be provided to readers prior to the reader evaluation process. You can choose to volunteer to read either 10 or 20 applications. Each applications takes about 15-30 minutes to read and score.


Every year our readers say this is an enjoyable and worthwhile experience. Consider participating as a reader this year, and if you know of someone else who may be interested, please share this information with them.
